Just for our opening night in Summer, welcome to Sambar’s very own - Chaat room! Chaat is a special mouth watering cuisine that traditionally inhabits the roadsides in India.

Pani Puri- $3.00

Shells of wheat flour filled with a spicy mix of potatoes and tamarind water.

Pav Bhaji- $4.00

Toasted bread served with a zesty masala of potatoes, onions and capsicum with special spices that give this dish a unique character like none other!

Plain Dosas - $3.00

- a crepe with a rice and lentil base that is served with Sambar (a soup made with lentils, vegetables and spices). For any South Indian, the world isn't an illusion, its simply made of Dosas!

Masala Dosa- $5.00

- a dosa with a stuffing of a spicy potato and onion mix.

Puliyogare (a.k.a Tamarind Rice) - $3.00

a tangy twisty rice dish in a tamarind sauce sauteed with peanuts and mustard seeds

Curd rice- $2.00

This dish just about sets the temperature for the summer at 69.

Mango kulfi- $2.00

An Indian version of ice cream with mangoes.
