Get the drumroll going as Sambar takes for the the first time for Fall 2007.

OUR OPENING NIGHT IS: SEPTEMBER, 11th
TIMINGS: 6.30PM- 8.30 PM
VENUE: The same old place- Red Herring (at the corner of Mathews and Oregon)

Mirchi Bajji- $2.00

fried green chillis - hot stuff, every way you think of it!

Bhel Puri
- $3.00

Rice crispies, onions and tomatoes with tamarind sauce and chaat masala.

Plain Dosas
- $3.00

- a crepe with a rice and lentil base that is served with Sambar (a soup made with lentils, vegetables and spices). For any South Indian, the world isn't an illusion, its simply made of Dosas!

Masala Dosa- $5.00

-a dosa with a stuffing of a spicy potato and onion mix.

Puliyogare (a.k.a Tamarind Rice) - $3.00

a tangy twisty rice dish in a tamarind sauce sauteed with peanuts and mustard seeds

Thaali - $5.00

- the thread that ties together white rice, with beans curry, sambar, egg plant kootu

Semiya payasam- $ 2.00

Sweetened vermicelli in milk, sauteed with raisins and cashewnuts
